Bioverda is an international sustainable energy company which is involved in harnessing energy from bioenergy sources and biofuels. The company currently has operations in Ireland, Germany, Spain and North America. Bioverda is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTR plc.

The Bioverda division of NTR plc, which encompasses the Bioenergy and biofuels (biodiesel and ethanol business) was officially launched by NTR on the 7th March 2006. Bioverda currently operates a number of landfill gas plants with up to 25 MW of power being produced from methane. Bioverda also operates two biodiesel facilities in Germany.
